The Tajsa Roma Cultural Heritage Prize was launched in 2019 by the European Roma Institute for Arts and Culture (ERIAC). Embodying the ERIAC founding principles, the Tajsa Prize honors a Roma individual who – by drawing from Roma cultural heritage – enriches the Roma arts and culture scene as well as shapes and reinvents forms of Roma cultural expressions for the next generation.
This year, the Tajsa Roma Cultural Heritage Prize 2021 will take place at the National Theatre in Belgrade on December 10 2021 at 19.00 (CET).
The Ceremony will feature a selection of world-renowned Roma musicians, including Pretty Loud, all-female Serbian-Roma band, Danijel and Darko Piller, winners of the word music award Onet le Château, Nataša Tasić Knežević, world-class soprano, Sandro Roy & Landsberger Trio, international Jazz virtuosos and Riah Knight, Jazz singer and singers Silvija Nesić and Aleksandra Aleksandrović.
The event will be streamed live on ERIAC website and social media.
